Shannon Crematorium Operators Had “No Choice” But To Close Chapel

The operators of Shannon Crematorium say the decision to close their doors to the public was an extremely difficult one.

Funeral services across the country have been affected by strict government guidelines on public gatherings, with Churches already closing their doors and restricting numbers attending funerals.

But the operators of the family-run Shannon Crematorium found that measures to restrict numbers were not sustainable and have now closed the chapel, to keep both members of the public and staff safe and healthy.
