No New Covid-19 Cases In Clare For Third Day In A Row, As National Death Toll Rises By 9

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of nine people with COVID-19 have died.
There have now been a total 1,678 COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.

Validation of data at the HPSC has resulted in the denotification of one death, to 1,678, with the denotification of four confirmed cases to 25,183, including one in Co Clare.

The total number of cases in this county is now 368.

As of Friday 5 June the HPSC has been notified of 24 confirmed cases of COVID-19. There is now a total of 25,183 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.

The HSE is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
