The Health Minister is appealing to the public to bear with GPs, as the online system for referring patients to get tested for coronavirus has crashed.

GPs can now order a test for someone with symptoms online, but so many are using it the system can’t cope.

Meanwhile, the people of Clare and Ireland are being urged to oberserve social distancing guidelines as a priority, in a bid to slow the spread of the virus.

Ballyvaughan GP Dr. Liam Glynn, who has warned that Ireland is 14 days behind Italy in terms of dealing with the disease, says that by working together, we can still stave off the worst effects of the virus.
