Fears That Bank Of Ireland’s Clare Branches Will Stay Closed

Fear has been expressed that three Bank of Ireland branches in Clare, which have been closed temporarily for the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, may never re-open.

Bank of Ireland closed 101 of its branches nationwide in March, to prioritise service at 161 larger lcoations, with Tulla, Kilkee and Miltown Malbay among those closed over recent weeks.

In a statement to Clare FM, Bank of Ireland said it “cannot be definitive” on their next steps, but says they are closely monitoring all developments.
