Testing at the Ennis Covid Test Centre is being carried out on an appointment-only basis from this morning.
It follows what the HSE says is an ‘increased demand’ at the facility, with more than 2,000 tests having been carried out there in the past week.
Public Health Midwest reported 200 new cases of the virus in Clare up to last Wednesday and additional staff has been allocated to test centre in Ballymaley this week to allow for additional test capacity.
