Ennis Chamber President Describes Retention Of Restrictions As ‘Death Blow’ To Many Pubs

The President of Ennis Chamber believes the retaining of certain COVID-19 restrictions until February is a ‘death blow’ to publicans in this county and beyond.

While the 11.30pm closing time for pubs and restaurants is to be scrapped from Friday, bar counter service will not be permitted until at least February of 2022.

Mask wearing, social distancing and the use of vaccination passports have been extended until that date.
