Deputy Mayor Of Ennis Speaks Out After Contracting COVID-19

The Deputy Mayor of Ennis is urging people to remain vigilant and ensure they play their part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Barefield Independent Ann Norton has been self-isolating at home after being treated in hospital for the coronavirus and has spoken out about feeling very unwell and sleeping up to 20 hours every day.

Councillor Norton is also a carer for her daughter Nicole, who has cerebral palsy, and she says her biggest fear is passing the virus on to her, or other members of her family.
