Clare’s COVID-19 Total Nears 70 As Two New Cases Confirmed

Two new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Clare, bringing the county total to 68.

The National Public Health Emergency team has also revealed this evening that a further 28 people have sadly been confirmed to have died as a result of the virus.

It brings the death toll to 263.


500 new cases overall were added to the database today, meaning the total in the Republic now stands at 6,574.

It’s the biggest daily increase in diagnoses since the virus first began to take hold in Ireland.
