Clare Is “Very Vulnerable” To COVID-19 Fallout – Council CEO

Clare County Council’s CEO admits the county is “very vulnerable” to the economic fallout of COVID-19.

In an interview with Clare FM, Pat Dowling has said he has concerns about how many businesses will not return to training.

The local authority has established an economic taskforce, made up of private and public sector representatives, which is expected to meet for the first time this week in order to begin the process of identifying priority economic actions for Clare, and ways which vulnerable businesses can be helped.
