A member of a multi award winning Clare band says the latest guidelines from Fáilte Ireland are just “throwing breadcrumbs” to a music industry which has been decimated during the pandemic.
Live music is now allowed outdoors at pubs, restaurants and hotels under redrafted guidelines but remains banned for weddings, which will also continue to be capped at 100 people indoors.
Clare trio, Socks in the Frying Pan, are one of the many musical groups across the county who have been affected by the restrictions in place for live music events.
