Clare Gardaí Warn Spot Checks Will Continue At Pubs This Weekend

Gardaí are warning that spot-checks will continue at licenced premises across Clare this weekend, to ensure they’re complying with social distancing rules.

26 pubs across the country are facing prosecution, following inspections at nearly 7,000 licensed premises last weekend, though its understood none of those breaches were in this county.

During Operation Navigation, Gardaí found that people in some pubs were drinking without food being purchased or large groups sitting at one table, with no social distancing.
