Clare Coach Operator Believes It Will Be March 2022 Before Sector Can Begin To Recover

A leading coach operator in Clare believes it will be at least March of next year before the sector can begin to fully recover from the effects of the pandemic.

It comes as public transport capacity is to increase to 100 percent again from today, as part of the government’s new roadmap out of Covid-19 restrictions, with the private sector following suit.

Tourist season for operators traditionally happens between March and August, with many private coach businesses relying on school and community runs for the time being.
