Chief Medical Officer Warns Ireland Could Lose Control Of Covid Outbreak

The Chief Medical Officer is warning Ireland could still lose control of the Covid-19 outbreak.

1,339 people with the virus have now lost their lives, while the number of cases has risen to just under 22,000, with 249 confirmed cases here in Clare.

Public health officials say the country must be re-opened in a cautious and conservative way, to prevent further restrictions later this year.
