A further three people with Covid-19 have died, bringing the death toll to 1,659, while 47 new cases have been detected, while one additional case was confirmed in Clare, bringing the county total to 369.

On two consecutive days this week, Clare saw a considerable jump in cases after a number of existing cases that had been counted in Limerick were reclassified.
