A great great grandmother from West Clare, whose family expressed frustration that she was still waiting to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, will be vaccinated this week.
The family of Sarah Ryan from Quilty, who is 98, expressed frustration that she had not yet been jabbed, even though the government proclaimed that those aged over 85 had been inoculated.
Sarah was unable to attend her GP to get the vaccine as she’s housebound.

After her case was highlighted on Clare FM and other media last week, the family have now been informed that she will be vaccinated in the coming days.
