The first payments to Clare businesses who have applied for the government’s COVID-19 restart grant are expected to be made from today.
Fresh figures show some 800 local firms have applied for the support, which is worth up to 10,000 to companies who had to close, or saw their income hit, by the pandemic.
Applications will also open soon on another government-scheme to help companies with a rates waiver.
