Gardai are continuing to question a man in his twenties following a fatal stabbing in Cork city.

The victim – who was sixty – was found at a house on Murmount Avenue in Montenotte at around 8am.
Her 68 year old husband – was taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
The house where the stabbing happened remains sealed off, and the woman's body remains at the scene.
