Clare’s Senator believes a state enquiry into the Grace case should be extended to investigate other cases.
Its terms of reference will be signed off by cabinet this morning and will include a requirement for an interim report after 6 months.
The investigation is due to examine how Grace was first left in a foster home in the southeast, the monitoring of her placement, and the decisions taken about her care there.
