The Minister in charge of the Office of Public Works has been urged to answer questions about Blake's Corner, amid Council plans demolish three homes in a bid to deal with long-standing traffic issues.

The local authority's "preferred solution" for the infamous bottleneck is to build a new road and bridge over the River Inagh, and the listed homes will remain in situ while other private residences will be demolished.
The Council says it's complying with stringent laws for protected buildings.
Ennistymon Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway has told the Seanad that he believes the solution is “a scandalous waste of taxpayers money.”
