Clare’s Fine Gael Senator insists the confidence and supply agreement will be honoured, despite a war of words between the Taoiseach and Micheál Martin.
The Fianna Fáil leader has this week accused Leo Varadkar of negotiating the agreement through the media, saying he needs to realise he doesn’t have a divine right to power.
Fianna Fáil agreed in principal to support the minority government through three budgets, the third being this October, but beyond that, the deal is uncertain.
