A Clare government representative in the Oireachtas has given his backing to the coalition’s current plan for a HSE inquiry into the death of Savita Halappanavar, in spite of criticisms by her husband.

In a televised interview last night, Praveen said he would not co-operate with the investigation, but North Clare Senator Martin Conway feels it is the correct course of action.
He feels a public inquiry could then be held should it be deemed necessary
