Conway Appointed To International Panel To Represent Disabled People

A Clare Senator has been appointed to an international panel to promote political participation of people with disabilities.

Fine Gael’s Martin Conway underwent a vigorous interview process in order to join the panel which is part of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Senator Conway is the first visually-impaired member of the Oireachtas and hopes to use his experiences to help increase the level of representation for those with disabilities in the political realm.
