The Rose of Clare Festival’s continued adaptation since its inception in 1979 has been attributed to its ever growing success.
The festival gets underway in Cooraclare/Cree on August 3rd and will come to a head with the crowning of this year’s Rose of Clare.

A wide array of events will take place across the week, with Marty Morrissey set to conduct the interviews with the roses, one of the feature activities of the festival.
Organising committee member, Helen Kelly has been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus the festival’s evolution throughout its history has resulted in its continued success.
