A new County Library for Clare is one step closer as consultants have been appointed to design and deliver the flagship project.

The proposed 8.6 million euro facility is to be located on a site at Glór in Ennis and will replace the existing De Valera Library on Harmony Row.
A public consultation process is due to get underway shortly and it's hoped building will begin early next year.
Clare County Librarian Helen Walsh says it's an exciting day.
