Construction on a new 1.2 billion euro data centre campus on the outskirts of Ennis is expected to get underway late next year.
A planning application has today been lodged for the new facility, which has been identified by Clare County Council as a key pillar of the Ennis 2040 Economic Plan for the area.

The site is located on the Tulla road, close to Junction 13 of the M18 motorway and if the development is given the green light, construction will be phased over a six-year period beginning in late 2022.
Managing Director of development managers Tom McNamara & Partners, Tom Mc Namara has been telling Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill that the development will result in a significant jobs boost for the county.
