Construction has begun on the County Museum redevelopment project in Ennis.
The project will see the refurbishment of the upstairs rooms in the building into office and meeting rooms, with downstairs to add Éamon de Valera’s 1947 Dodge car to the Museum exhibition.
The vehicle transported two of Ireland’s presidents in the early years of the State, and will be developed alongisde an enhanced tourist office at the facility.
