Theresa May looks like the favourite at the moment, but the Energy Minister Andrea Leadsom (PRO: LED-SUM) has publicly received the backing of Boris Johnson for the job.
However a poll for The Times this morning has found the sitting home secretary May has the backing of 63 per cent of them.
First round results are expected at around seven this evening – and with MPs voting every Tuesday and Thursday until the five candidates are whittled down to two.
