Residents in West Clare are being reassured that the local authority is looking into ways of supporting locals experiencing ongoing water outages in the area.
It comes as Irish Water has confirmed to Clare’s Independent TD Michael McNamara, that a contractor has been appointed to carry out repairs to the mains between Mullagh and Miltown Malbay.

But the works aren’t due to begin until the first quarter of next year.
Frequent water outages is one of the issues to be discussed at a meeting of West and North Clare Councillors and Fianna Fáil Councillor Shane Talty says it’s particularly important that residents have access to water during the covid-19 crisis.
