Confirmation will be sought at a public meeting in Corofin this evening on whether committments on supports for rural doctors will be delivered.
Up to 400 people are expected at the follow-up at the local Parish Hall from 8pm, where GPs will seek a clear timeline of the delivery of promises made by local Government TDs Pat Breen and Joe Carey at a meeting in December.
The event, which is being managed by the Clare GP Organising Committee as part of it's No Doctor No Village campaign will focus on what they've described as a national emergency in resourcing and manpower within rual practise.
