An MEP who will soon no longer be asking the county’s voters for their support says she is concerned about the new European Parliament Boundaries.

The Banner county is now back in Munster when it comes to voting in next year’s Eurpoean Elections because of a reduction in the number of Irish MEPs
Along with other counties in Munster, and south Leinster, Clare is part of a new Ireland South Constituency.
Independent MEP Marian Harkin says these new super sized constituency areas are going to make it very tough for candidates hoping to be elected.
