Concerns Raised Over Text Alerts In Part Of Clare

Concerns have been raised over the reliability of community text alert systems in parts of Clare.

It’s claimed that incidents reported to Gardaí haven’t been relayed to those subscribing to the service in the Sixmilebridge area in recent weeks, however this hasn’t been the case elsewhere in the county.

There were ten alerts sent out in the Killaloe area between December and February.
