Concerns Raised Over Significant Fall In Clare Addiction Counselors

It’s claimed there has been a 60% drop in addition counselors in Clare in just over a decade.

Sinn Féin’s Mike McKee says there are now an unacceptable number of addiction counselors in the county, compared to 2006, when there were five – that number has now dropped to just 2.

The Shannon Councillor has condemned the county’s Oireachtas representatives for failing to deliver adequate services, calling on them to take immediate action.
