A leading social justice campaigner says he's very concerned by the number of 'new' families becoming homeless.

Figures published yesterday, from the Dublin Region Homeless Executive, show 134 families – with 269 children – became homeless in the capital in January.
Most of these – 125 families- are classed as "newly" homeless.
There are calls for the next government to urgently prioritise the issue.
Fr. Peter McVerry – of the Peter McVerry Trust- says all agencies need to come together to tackle the problem.
