Concerns Over Clare Job Creation

Concerns have been raised over what's been described as the Government's lack of committment to job creation in Clare.

It comes as figures show there were only 12 IDA visits to Clare in 2015, compared to 40 and 41 respectively in our neighbouring counties Limerick and Galway, and 242 visits to Dublin.

Over two thousand jobs were created in the county over the past four years but this is outweighed by the number of job losses here, marking a deficit of 96.

Independent Election Candidate, Kilrush Councillor Ian Lynch has been telling me that Clare hasn't seen it's fair share of economic growth.
