Concerns have emerged following the burglary of a home in the Kilmurry area near Sixmilebridge, while householders were attending a funeral locally.
Councillor Alan O'Callaghan believes it was a sophisticated operation, which saw only jewelry and cash being targeted.
He's condemned those involved, saying it was particularly difficult, given that the homeowners were grieving at the time.
