Concerns are being expressed in Clare that nursing home residents who had COVID-19 when initial vaccines were being administered still aren’t protected against the virus.
Vaccines were rolled out to residential care facilities last month – but those who had the disease at the time did not receive the jab.

NPHET advice suggests that anyone who gets inoculated must be 28 days free of COVID before they receive the vaccine.
