Concern has emerged that parts of East Clare may once again become a dumping ground.
It follows an announcement by Panda Recycling, one of the biggest waste collection companies in Ireland, that it’s to hike bin charges from next month.

Fianna Fáil Councillor Alan O’Callaghan has previously spoken out about bogus bin collectors taking rubbish from neighbouring Limerick City and dumping it in the East of this county.
The Kilmurry representative fears this latest price hike will result in a resurgence of this type of activity.
