Concern As Homeless Figures In Clare Spike

An East Clare member of the county’s housing committee insists it’s practically impossible for the homeless to get into private rental accommodation here.

It’s after the Department of Housing latest figures revealed there are 72 adults around Clare without a home.

The number has risen each month so far this year including in April, when 300 less people nationally were deemed to be homeless.
