The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says it is very concerned about a spike in the number of people on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick last month.

The Organisation's own figures show 475 people were on the temporary beds in the Emergency Department at Dooradoyle, or in above-capacity wards last month.
The figure for July 2013 stood at 260, and the rise comes even though there had been a reduction in May and in June.
