President Trump Expresses Condolences Following Death Of Doonbeg Priest

U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a letter of condolences to the family of the late Doonbeg Parish Priest Fr. Joe Haugh.

There were warm tributes in the Doonbeg area to the popular priest following his death in early April, while it was also covered widely in the media as well – Fr. Haugh had previously made headlines when he said that he believed there was a place in Heaven for the US President.

The pair had met during Donald Trump’s visits to Doonbeg, and in a letter to his brother Tommy, the President says Fr. Haugh meant a lot to him, to his sons, and the entire community.
