The communities of Ballina and Killaloe are rallying around the family of a local teenager, who lost his fight for life following a farm accident earlier this week.
16-year-old Patrick McKeogh from Inchadrinagh died from injuries sustained in a fall from a quad bike last Monday.
He’ll be laid to rest following a private mass for family and friends at St. Lua’s Church, Ballina tomorrow morning.
Dean Vicar of St Flannan’s Cathedral, Reverend Paul Fitzpatrick says the entire community is in mourning.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are advising of traffic delays in the Killaloe and Ballina area tomorrow morning from 10.45am.
Motorists are asked to use the old N7 road to O’Brien’s Bridge, with delays expected on the bridge crossing until 1.30pm
