A remembrance wreath is to be laid at the East Clare Memorial Park in Tuamgraney tomorrow morning, with another wreath to be laid in Scariff Church at the graves of the men shot dead by British forces in Killaloe in November 1920.
Chairman of the East Clare Memorial Committee, Fianna Fail Councillor Pat Hayes, says looking back on the past is important for the area.
