Clonlara residents to attend demonstration against lack of action on flooding crisis

Clonlara residents were be among a group of demonstrators who will gather in Athlone today to protest over the government's handling of the flooding crisis. 

Hundreds of homes, business and lands around country were left devestated by water in December and January with millions of euro in damage caused. 

The Springfield area of Clonlara was among the worst hit in the country. 

Geraldine Quinlivan was one of those badly affected in South East Clare and is going to today's protest determined to have her voice heard.
