The Clonlara mother of an eight year old boy with Down Syndrome is vowing to continue her fight to have her son’s discretionary medical card returned.

Noreen Keane’s comments come after a meeting with senior HSE officials in which she was told that the card removed from Ronan would not be reviewed.
Ronan has been offered a Long Term Illness Book which covers the cost of medicines but not other health bills, which come to over €2,000 each month.
