Cllr Fears Lack Of Heating At Shannon School Will Result In Students Getting Sick

A Shannon Councilor fears a lack of heating at a local school will result in students getting sick.

Donna McGettigan says a number of parents have contacted her with complaints about the central heating being switched off in the school and the Sinn Féin Councillor claims students aren’t permitted to wear coats or jackets in classrooms.

It’s been confirmed the principal of the school and Minister for Education Norma Foley have been contacted, with the Minister issuing a response pledging to investigate the matter.
