Teachers and pupils from St Joseph’s Secondary School are to climb every mountain they can to raise funds in memory of a Tulla girl who passed away earlier this year.
Teen Labhaoise Fitzgerald passed away after a six-year fight with cancer back in January.

Her friends and teachers are now looking to climb hills and mountains across the region for Barretstown, a cause Labhoise herself raised money for during her life.
PE and Geography Teacher at St Joseph’s Secondary School in Tulla, Donna Fitzgerald, says they wanted to do something to pay tribute to her memory having been unable to during the height of COVID restrictions.
