Cliffs Of Moher Ireland’s Second Most Popular Tourist Attraction

The Cliffs of Moher have once again been beaten by the Guinness Storehouse to be named Ireland’s most popular tourist attraction.

Fáilte Ireland says the iconic Dublin factory attracted 1.7 million visitors last year, marking a four percent increase on the 2016 figure.

Clare’s renowned Cliffs were a close second with 1.5 million visitors but saw a seven percent surge in visitors.

Bunratty Castle came in 17th place, welcoming 369,000 visitors last year – a drop from 15th place the previous year but up from the 352,000 visitors in 2016.

Meanwhile, the National Gallery has once again proven to be the most popular free attraction.
