The head of the Clare Local Development Company says a cut in LEADER funding will slow down the recovery in rural areas here.

The Government has allocated almost €9 million to Clare for a range of projects over the course of the next four years.
Community groups and small enterprises are being encouraged to apply, but the figure for Clare has been reduced by a third.
