Since 7 o’clock this morning , voters here have been beginning to arrive at the 102 polling stations across the county to have their say on the family and care referendums.
On the white paper, voters will be asked if they are in favour of broadening the constitutional definition of family to recognise it’s foundation on durable relationships as well as marriages.
While the green paper will propose replacing the reference to a “women’s life within the home” with a recognition of family carers.
