Clare’s Remote Working Hubs Set For Boost After Funding Injection

Clare’s remote working hubs are set for a boost after a funding injection announced by the Government today.

The Department of Rural & Community Development has allocated €140,000 to Clare County Council to provide new modular workspaces and privacy pods in hubs in this county.

A further €50,000 has been set aside to allow the local authority here to fund marketing campaigns and promote the remote working opportunities.

Hybrid workers will also be offered free days at a series of remote working hubs under the new initiative.

Speaking with Clare FM’s Josh Prenderville, Meelick-based Fianna Fail TD Cathal Crowe says he’s confident existing hubs around the county will be able to cater for increased demand this summer.
